PLANET EARTH - April 1st, 2017: Selfie.VC Institute has in close cooperation with National Air and Sea Agency (NASA) developed a unique and groundbreaking screening method for astronaut candidates.
Leveraging the award-winning Selfie.VC platform and state-of-the-art screening and self-testing techniques, NASA can now screen potential astronaut more accurate, faster and cost effective over videoconference.
NASA has implemented the Astronaut @ Selfie.VC self-test app as an integral part of their recruitment and screening processes, empowering NASA to reach more potential candidates from any location on earth. The app allows anyone to video call (SIP/H.323/SfB) to astronaut@selfie.vc for a quick self-test to see if they are of astronaut material.
Chief Screening Officer at NASA, Joe McFlight, comments:
“The Astronaut @ Selfie.VC self-test app enables us to faster find the best candidates from a larger pool of candidates, with extremely high accuracy. It has increased our screening effectiveness with 500% while reducing the cost significantly".
CEO at Selfie.VC, Will Foo Lu, comments:
“We really appreciate the cooperation with NASA and believe it is a great testament to our years of research and development of the Selfie.VC videoconference self-test platform".
The Astronaut @ Selfie.VC test app follows a number of powerful and successful videoconference self-test apps including President @ Selfie.VC (video call president@selfie.vc) used for testing and screening of presidential candidates including independents.
Further more, in the UC&C space, amy@selfie.vc, gary@selfie.vc, and goldfish@selfie.vc, have all become very popular as it enables any videoconferencing user to ensure that they are technical all set ahead of any meeting.
